A Writer’s View

A new week and I thought I’d kick-off the week with some thoughts in general about the world at large.

A lot is gooing on in the world, but I guess that’s just the everyday of it. Thinking about this week one thing that comes to mind is the fact that Trumps current trial will go to jury tomorrow. That adds a bit of intrigue to the week here at home.

This week we will be burying a beloved family. As I think about the trial ending my thought is you almost made it. This was the second of my family members that wanted so badly to see some sence of justice done. Of course we don’t know what the virdict will be, and differing people may have a different view of what justice would look like. But at least one chapter of the Trump presidential legacy is ending. There are at least three remaining.

I approch the conclusion of this trial with some apprehension that we might see some violance as a result. That’s not a story I am anxious to write about. I would much prefer to be writing, I knew we were better than that.

TRAGIC LOSS OF LIFE
