Trump has not have much to smile about this past week. Starting with the Porto Rico “garbage” uproar from a poorly orchestrated campaign event in Pennsylvania, and yesterday’s public use of violent language to state Liz Cheney should face a firing squad statement and earlier feeble attempt at getting into a garbage truck at a photo opp. His weaving (as he calls them) ramblings that made little sense has been very prevalent recently. His language for Harris has become increasingly caustic. And he has recently made statements about taking care of women that are not setting well with a large segment of the population.

According to (Newsweek) Trump lost some ground among voters this week with a 6 point drop in his chances to win. Sometimes, Trump is simply his worst enemy. His campaign has had lots of vitrail throughout the course of the election cycle, but seems to have vastly increased in volume, tone, and frequency.

The Matter of Under Counts Comes Up Again

According to prominent CNN polling analyst Harry Enten, on average, polls underestimated the Democrats by 4 points in the midterm 2022 elections.
