Musk Lacks Any Core Ethics

It’s no secret that Elon Musk pumped money into the election effort of Donald Trump. What is however is lesser known is that he bank-rolled a PAC with the intention of creating a link the views of now-President elect Trump with those of the late liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, on abortion.
Federal Election Commission filings show that Musk provided $20.5 million for a pro-Trump RBG PAC. The PAC which bore the initials foe Ginsberg ran ads stating that Trump wouldn’t sign a national abortion ban. The use of Ginsberg’s identity and link to Trump’s position on a national abortion ban are a disingenuous connection. Elon Musk was the PAC’s sole donor, and given the closeness of Musk to Trump throughout the campaign make it unlikely the campaign did not know and coordinate with the PAC’s expenditures. Such an act would be a violation of Federal Campaign Finance Law.
The Political Action Committee (PAC) drew outrage for the RBG PAC’s website when it launched in the final days of the 2024 election campaign, with an image of Trump beside one of Ginsburg above the words: “Great Minds Think Alike.”
