Trump’s actions since he took office have been at a hectic pace, closes down government agencies, firing workers, enacts massive tariffs and threaten to finish Israel’s ethnic cleansing in Gaza, and make major shifts in European foreign policy. So much so that age-old allies and alliances have been jeopardized.

Trumps actions have signaled an alliance with Putin that Europe is uncomfortable with. As Trump shifts our foreign policy in a way that would toss and turn past Presidents in their graves, the issue of reliability of sharing intelligence with the United States is seen by many as a risk that they are no longer comfortable with. Information as well as sources passed on to Putin could jeopardize people’s lives in addition to drying up intel sources. Trump already stopped sharing Intel this weel with Ukraine. An act that could have devastating consequences given there is no cease fire between Russa and Ukraine. This act shows Trump giving an advantage to Putin in advance of any potential peace proposal.
