Sometimes people have birthdays to remember. I don’t know how many 80 year old men fall into this catagory but Rudy Giuliani was shortly after mocking the case and others who had already been served in Arizona over the fake credentials scam on Trump’s behalf.

I cannot say that I was ever one who thought of Rudy as America’s Mayor. His tenure as mayor was nothing exceptional aside for showing up on the site of the 9–11 Towers that collapsed. Any Mayor of New York would have the minimally required smarts to do so.

His decline from public notoriety was swift. He fell like an elevator that snapped it’s cord.

He had his short run for the White House which was pretty pathetic. He didn’t want to do the work required of a campaign. I think he somehow felt he was owed the nomination.

Then he subsequent latched onto Trump. Thought maybe he could be his Attorney General. It was a big letdown to him when he did not get offered it. Looking back today I don’t believe anyone would think he had legal mind, much less the ethics for that position.

Rudy would hang around Trump through his term as president and do grunt work and contrive up ways to make up stories that he knew Trump would want him to check out. Every once and awhile he would come back for more money as he basically lived off Trumps whims and ignorance.
