I have never considered the statement of "White Privledge"anything besides a socioeconomic construct to provide the context of a very real pattern of factors that can work against minorities. Not in my widest dreams have I even seen it as a put down for anyone.
I don't question that you are conveying this feeling. I'm sure it is very real to you. That said I believe is useful in the context of identify "real" forces that can work against mqny minorities. It is a condition that says more about society than minorities per say. It is a failure within our social fabric often perpetrated sometimes knowingly and other unknowingly that has impacte jobs, education, housing, etc.
I'm not sure what term you would prefer for the very real life factors described. Firther, I don't see why a wite person would lecture a minority about "white Privledge." If you want to lecture someone about it, lecture those who perpetuqte descriminatory standards.
As to the thinking of inferiority about about one's color, again - the term does not address a minority person for any weekness, shortcoming, fault. It's onus is on society. The fact that many minorities rise up and make something of themselves is commendable, Just as it is for anyone to do so. But it likely means through their heard work they have overcome some real obsticals. More power to them.
