I’ve Been In Politics Long Enough

I’ve been in Politics long enough than I know with something is ticking. Joe Biden is ticking and not missing a beat.

First let me point to some credentials. I am serving a 9th term on our County Democratic Committee. I have served on or State Committee. I have been both Treasurer at times and Chairman of our County Democratic Party in an urban area, to whit I have worked on some level in every Presidential campaign dating back to 1968. Yes, before I could vote. (First election to vote in was 1972). I’ve seen winning campaigns and candidates and I seen some horrifical losing campaigns. I’m not saying I am the ultimate expert on them but I have more that a casual experience with them.

You’ve all heard the story about mid-term election. The on where party in power loses. It’s more than pretty common. A month ago, the common belief was that Democrats will lose control of both the house and Senate. The Senate is so razor thin a sneeze changes the balance of power. The House only slightly better.

Here are some things that Biden has no control over:

  1. The quality of republican Candidates. To be certain they may have one of the most substandard quality of candidates across the board that I have ever seen. Even Mitch McConnell is lamenting that. You don’t have to take my word for it.
