You also ask the above question which i hope i can shed some light on. First, I honestly don't think you will find many avid white supremists amont those groups protesting over Palestanian civilians being slaughtered whosale. It's not their style. They could no hamdle the fact that most of those people at not in fact anti jew. They have a problem with the government of the state of Israel.
We have an antisemintic problem in America, and around the world as well., Tere are Jew haters. There are those who actually believe in conspiracy theories that frighten the shit out of them, These people are a real threat to humanity. They still praise the efforts to eradicat Jews and criticize Hitler only to the extent that he did not finish the job. To that I say thank God!
In high school one of my best friends was Jewish. He invited me to his Bar Mitzvah. I was honored.
Fast forward to today. I am still the same person. But what I have seen in Palestine is deplorable. I have followed the news from a variety of sources closely and I have historically been political by nature since my teens.
I have been critical of the actions of Israel under the leadership of Netanyahu. I have been critical of him for a long time because I have seen him as two faced on the matter of Palestanian statehood. Giving lip service on the one hand but then taking every effort he could to block it's success. Encouraging illegal settlement in the West Bank that directly impeeded peace.
On October 7th I specifically called out Hamas for the brutal attack. I have called for the release of all the hostages. You can find evidence of that on my Medium account in more than one place.
I too have been outspoken against the intentinal starvation of Palestanian civilians. In the very beginning that stopped the flow of clean water and food shipments. Such actions are an outrage agains himanity and Just one of many actions that are genocidal in nature.
In speaking out abou this, I have been told that my words are antisematic. This is a term that is thrown around quite a bit these days and I believe many see it as Jews playing an anti-sematic card like some refer to playing a race card.
As the weeks have gone by I have seen more and more evidence of a sustained effort at ethnic clensing in Gaza. This is evidenced by the following actions thst sre in plame view. Each ofthese fall within the actions considered to be genoside;
1. destroying historic, religious and cultural sites in an effort to erase any recordof the existance of these things.
2. Targeting hosputals, ambulences, keeping medical people from reaching those needing halp and transporting them to hospitals. Hospitals fighting to remain even remotely functional.
Bombing refugee housing repeatedly. Bombing schools set up by UN to house didplaced.
Israelis brocking aid trucks with food water and medication intentionally.
Settlers in West Bank pulling residents from their home beating some. Seperating men from women. Shooting some and detaining others with no offical charges.
3. After removing civilians from homes in the West Bank, they bulldoze the homes. They bulldove the streets so they are not useful for travel. They destroy utility hookups.
4. Bombing has not been targeted to take out combatants. The majority of organces used have been dumb bombs. That is to say they are not directed to specific targets, but dropped in residentual areas and inflict a maximan of casualties besides leveling the housing.
It is small wonder that of the horrific toll of 30,000 plus, some 70,000 wounded. Among the dead are 12,000 children and 8,000 women.
There are statements from Israeli leadership to the evect every child over 4 should starve. And language talking about Palestanians as animals. This is the language of hitler. This is the language White Supremists us.
I don't believe Netanyahu could winreelection now, nor keep his cabinet. I believe there are a lot of Jews that are conflicted. Among my many writing friends are many Jews - American Jews that are using language like "Never Again".
Jeffrey, the signs are all there. And the more we hear from Israeli leadership the stronge the sase< not just for actions, but stated intent.
I will say it again, I don't hate Jews, but I resent being called anti-sematic for calling out another genoside.
People say how could the world not know what was happening? Of course there was no isnatant news feeds back then, but if we turn a blind eyes to this, we are complicient once again and this is worse because there is no denying what is happening.
I pray for a day when there is peace between Palestanians and Jews. God I hope it comes, and soon!
It is never antisementic to speek up and oppose evil perpetrated on the part of a nation. That is not Jew Hate, and it is wrong too use that in speaking of broad policy, but pro nazsi individuals that pratice personal hatred against Jews, that is definately when that tag belongs.
