Nation’s Highest Court is Sinking in a Cesspool
Oh say can you see, why this might be a problem?
Our nations flag flying updise down. Why? According to the U.S. Flag Code, flying the American flag upside down is only meant to be done “as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.
Flying the flag upside down has been done by those with disagreement with the Supreme Court’s abortion decision overturning Row. It has also been used my many Trump followers at rallies and on the backs of pickuo trucks.
The particular instance pictured above is at the home of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Aleto. The date was January 17, 2021, photo of the inverted flag in this instance is like 3 days before President Joe Biden is sworn in. A coincidence?
According to CNN: “I had no involvement whatsoever in the flying of the flag,” Alito said in an emailed statement to the Times. “It was briefly placed by Mrs. Alito in response to a neighbor’s use of objectionable and personally insulting language on yard signs.”
It seems to me this is a stretch fora causation for flying the flag upside down. Additionally, it seems the wives of Clearance Thomas and now Samual Alto are making headlines for things that you might think keep these two Justices up late at night. Ok, maybe…
