President Biden, The United Nations, the IJC and numerous European Nations warned Israel of the Risk of Catrostophy that awaited an Invasion into Rafah.
Biden’s Warning
May 9th President Joe Biden said for the first time he would halt some shipments of American weapons to Israel — which he acknowledged have been used to kill civilians in Gaza — if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders a major invasion of the city of Rafah.
“Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers,” Biden told CNN’s Erin Burnett in an exclusive interview on “Erin Burnett OutFront.”
Biden warned that Israel has not taken enough precaution to provide for safety. Gasa is one of the most densely populated places on earth right now. Some 600,000 have fled the area, but more that the same amount remain. Persons are finding places to go are scarse. Lack of food, upheval from infustructure demolished and assurance that they wil not be attacked in the new locations have made continued evacuation difficult.
