Dr. Peper — so misunderstood bumped Pepsi out of 2nd Place

Today, I will talk about another war. The war for market share in soft drinks. The soft drink has been a fixture in American culture for as long as I can remember, and I’m older han dirt. ( And memory is still doing well ).

So, today I learned that Dr. Pepper knocked Pepsi out of second place in the battle to control market share. Coke remains on top, but it seems like Dr. Pepper kind of snuck up on Pepsi and tooke them down.

Diet Coke has always been my drink of choice, but I occasionally crave the taste of Dr. Pepper. This however never happens to me with Pepsi. I will resort to Pepsi as a last resourt, but I have to be pretty desprite.

I admit there is something uniquely different about Dr. Pepper that you don’t quite get with any other with another cola or any other soft drink for that matter.

Dr. Pepper has always had a sort of underdog status among drinks. I think in advertising they have played into that for year — “Dr. Pepper, So miss understood.” It’s kind of saying, okay, we aren’t what you think, try us.
