The issues are many, it is not an easy to task to rectify all the problems that have resulted in some very poor desisions by the U.S. and Britian in the beginning.

Dean Atcheson, with the U.S. State Deprtment in 1947 said, " Creating Israel on land already inhabited by Palestinians would imperil not only America but all Western interests in the Near East. "

Even Albert Einstein on the matter of Israel said in a speech, "I should much rather see reasonable agreement with the Arabs on the basis of living together in peace than the creation of a Jewish state.” He cautioned about what he forsaw as a disaster waiting to happen by creating an actual state of Israel in land that was inhabited by Palestinans and given authority for governance of such a state.

One thing is certain in my view. Hamas and Netanyahu are both bad faith actors and both should be held responsible for war crimes.
