Trump & Harris & the Upcoming Debate
A Lot On The Line for Both Candidates

Tight Race Stakes are High
When Trump and Harris meet on September 10th in Philadelphia the issue of the status of hot mic vs muted mic has been resolved. It will be muted.
The stakes in this race are almost astronomical. Both sides can scarcely afford to any mistakes. This will likely be the last time the two will meet face to face to square off over questions.
The Ground Rules will go like this: The length of the debate to be 90-minutes. The network said will contain two commercial breaks. The Trump campaign won a coin flip to determine the order of closing statements; the former president chose to go last. There will be no opening statements.
Each candidate has two minutes to respond to questions, along with two minutes for rebuttals and an additional minute to follow up or respond to what the other candidate has said, according to ABC’s rules. There can be no pre-written notes allowed, though Ms. Harris and Mr. Trump will be allowed to take notes on paper during the debate.
So who is likely favored at this point. I know that Trump thinks it is a big deal to be able to speak last. No doubt it is a psychological boost to him to have the last say.
