Slanderous Alligations Of Haitians Eating People’s Pets in NOT Victimless
The Paradox of Two Issues
Donald Trump and JD Vance have spread lies about Haitians in Springfield, Ohio eating people’s cays and dogs. Vance first made the claim, and in the Debate, Trump restated it. He has continued to double down on the issue.
The story had been circulating in advance of the Debate and one of the moderators had fact checked the story and found authorities in Springfield had no incidents of this occurring within the community. Law enforcement, mayor, dispatchers could find no evidence of such instances., and the moderator called Trump out on it.
Following the debate the story persisted. Trump doubled down on it. This past weekend Vance perhaps unwittingly said he would make up stories to get their message across to voters.
