CAN YOU BE A JOURNALIST UNDER AN UMBRELLA THAT LEAKS?

Let’s get something straight to start with. Fox News built a Brand based on ideology. I don’t think anyone can honestly look at Fox honestly and conclude otherwise.

You may recall Fox News had professed to be “Fair and Balanced” I believe this self-aggrandizing slogan began maybe in 2010 to 2011'ish, but in 2017 it shed this monicker. There were developing serious questions about the integrity of Fox News Journalism.

Some common ethical standards that are associated with journalism could be described as:

Truthful

Fact Based

Objective

Accurate

Independent

Impartial

Presented with public accountability

Viewers of Fox News have been fiercely loyal. A 2009 Study published by Pew Research found that 47% of the public found Fox news to be the most ideologically conservative of the news networks and 48% of viewers agreed. Fox was viewed as the least neutral or balanced of the networks. this would proceed by a year or two the adoption of the “Fair and Balanced” campaign that Fox undertook.
