It Started with Food, Water, and Fuel Held Back
Palestinians in the Gaza strip were quickly placed in Israeli controlled shortage of essentials for life as they began the assault in Gaza some 14 months ago. Discussion of sever food insecurity has dated back to those very early days as Israel prosecuted its military act said to be intended to cripple and end Hamas. The military actions continue and as a result the issues of access to food and clean water as well as medical care have worsened each month this conflict continues.
While the stated target of the IDF (Israeli Military) is Hamas a terrorist resistance group, embedded within Gaza, it is the Palestinian civilians that have borne the brunt of death and destruction. At least 45,400 Palestinians have died, and some 108,000 more civilians have been injured.
